At the launch event in Munich, Germany Huawei unveiled its 2019 flagship Huawei Mate 30 and Huawei Mate 30 Pro which comes with insane camera specs that can take DSLR like Photos, it also houses with huge waterfall display and massive battery with super-fast charging before we dig further in let’s check the specs first

Overview of Huawei Mate 30 Pro

Starting of the design Huawei Mate 30 Boast a Halo Ring design at the rear which houses with quad camera setup featuring a primary 40 Megapixel f/1.8 Sony IMX600 RYYB sensor which is Super Sensing wide camera with OIS, the second one is a new 40MP ultra-wide-angle sensor a.k.a Super Sensing Cine camera, third one carries an 8MP telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom and OIS, and final one is TOF sensor. Mate 30 Pro comes with IP68 water and dust resistant.

Now coming to the front it features waterfall screen housing 6.53 inch Flex Oled Horizon display with a bright and beautiful panel that curves at 88 degree angle, it comes with the support of HDR 10 and DCI-P3 wide color gamut.

Coming to the software Huawei is the first phone in 2019 to run Android 10 out of the box though it doesn’t run a licensed version of Android due to U.S.-China Trade war resulting in it Banning Google Services from Huawei Devices, instead its an AOSP which comes with pre-installed with HMS core instead of GMS aka Google Mobile Services core. Mate 30 Pro will not come with Google Service and Apps out of the box, it will come with EMUI10 with dark mode.

Mate 30 Pro will be equipped with 4500mah Battery, Huawei claims it could last up to 8.2 hours on heavy usage even the device get out of juice the 40W wired Supercharge and 27W wireless fast-charging will get the device charged quickly. Graphene Film Cooling Technology will keep the device cool while you charge with super-fast charger.

At the event Huawei showcased four new glossy color variants namely Space Silver, Cosmic Purple, Emerald Green and Black. With 2 Vegan Leather Edition that will come in Orange and Forest Green colors.

Price and Availability

Huawei Mate 30 Pro will start at 1,099 euros which is converted around Rs 86,500 for the base variant without 5G connectivity. For 5G variant it will retail at 1,199 euros converted around Rs 94,500, which is quite similar to the Galaxy Note 10+ 5G variant. Mate 30 Pro coming to India in the next couple of months without Google Apps and Services.
