At Smarter Living 2020 event in Bengaluru, Xiaomi finally brings the long awaited  Mi Band 3 successor Mi Band 4 to India at Rs.2299, it brings a lot of upgrades which was previously missing on Mi Band 3, such as color amoled display, music control, improved activity tracking and unlimited watch faces to customize your smart band. Let’s see what else it offers as a smart fitness band.

Specification and Features Of Mi Band 4

Mi Band 4 brings a larger 0.95-inch Color Amoled Display with a resolution of 120×240 compared to its predecessor which improves better Sunlight legibility, it also comes with 2.5D glass protection and anti-fingerprint coating that makes the band free from scratches and smudges. There is also a 135mAh battery which Xiaomi claims to offer 20 days of battery backup.

In terms of sensor Xiaomi offers 3-Axis Accelerometer, 3-Axis Gyroscope, PPG Heart Rate Sensor and Capacitive Proximity Sensor, with these high precision sensors now the band can now recognize and track more complex motions.

Mi Band 4 now comes with Water Resistance of 5ATM Rating, now you can dive and swim freely without worrying about the band, up to 50 Meters of water. It can now track six activities compared to two from its predecessor.

Design and Aesthetics

The size of the pill is the same as predecessor and Xiaomi also mentioned on their official website that newer Mi Band is compatible with last year Mi Band 3 Strap. The design and aesthetics of the newer Mi band looks almost the same as Mi Band 3, the only difference is in the home button the indent is now replaced with flat touch button below the display And now you could change band faces with unlimited band faces though 40 comes as default.
